AREA OF EXPERTISE: I have served families who have children with all types of disabilities including cerebral palsy, autism, developmental delay, cognitively impaired, learning disabilities, sensory integration issues, behavioral problems, genetic disorders, brain injury, etc. I am experienced with the McKay Scholarship and help families determine if their IEP can be strengthened in order to increase McKay Scholarship funding.
SOME OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Attend IEP / Section 504 meetings
- Mediation and Manifestation Determination meetings
- Phone and Email consultations
- Review educational records, school documents and testing
- Review IEPs, make recommendations and follow through with
parents and school administrators to ensure the IEP is being implemented.
- Research
- Write and review letters of complaint to the school district, state department of education, and the Office of Civil Rights.
- Propose strategies and make recommendations
- Provide guidance to you prior to, or after, your IEP meeting
